There are 570 million farms throughout the world, and in many countries almost everyone farms. But few farmers have made a connection between their farms and their faith in God.
Some struggle with their identity as farmers, or how to practice their faith in their farming. They also farm in ways that harm the soil and environment, so that food and animal products are filled with chemicals and antibiotics.
This Cause helps farmers learn how to connect their faith with work, and provides practical farming training – so that they can grow spiritually as they also grow healthy food.
Everything is customized to the local region, both culturally and agriculturally. For example:
An attendee of our first workshop was so inspired, he now teaches them.
Nyankpa farmers explore the importance of trees for their farms and livelihood.
Twenty Nigerian farmers attended a workshop held with the Tugbiri language community.
Ten Nigerian farmers begin to see themselves and their labor in a whole new light.
