Luka attended our first workshop with Gbari farmers as an interpreter. He had been made discouraged and afraid of setbacks, but the workshop sessions gave him new motivation to return to farming. (See his story, "No Fear in Farming".)
He was so inspired, in the two years after, he's joined Nathaniel, another attendee of our first workshop, and together have taught six more workshops to 1,720 people!
Five of these they taught in their own Gbari language. The sixth was a multilingual worshop at a Bible college, where they used Hausa, a regional language.
Most of Luka and Nathaniel's funding for travel and workshop costs comes from the results of their own farming projects.
